Sorry StSavoy, for missing this excellent post... An incredible pianist although his young age; excellent
technique, excellent touch, and unexpected feeling of music due to his age... Friends must listen this album,
I'm sure, they won't believe what they hear; if they didn't listen Eldar before... I want to write some parts
of the liner notes of this album; written by Dr. Billy Taylor:

"Eldar was 11 years old when I first met him and heard him play. I was so impressed by what I heard and by the
young man himself, that I immediately booked Eldar for a story on CBS Sunda Morning. Prodigies come and go,
but I quickly got the feeling that I had encountered someone quite special. First of all there was Eldar's
technical facility at the piano; it was astonishing for someone his age. But beyond that, he was honestly
playing jazz - not just spinning melody and notes. He had a feeling for what he was doing. My first impression
was that his playing sounded like a combination of Bill Evans and Oscar Peterson. Now, that's an odd combination
when you think about it, but it was clear to me that Eldar was hearing those two very different sounds, and
blending them.

Ultimately, there was Eldar himself. Even then, at age 11, he was a remarkable boy, earnest and respectful
but restlessly intelligent, curious and passionate about music. His mother is a music teacher, and she has
nurtured in him a thorough understanding of musical theory and technique. I was delighted that they choose
to bring Eldar to the United States from their native Kyrgyzstan, and especially delighted that they moved
to Kansas City instead of New York or Los Angeles. In Kansas City, Eldar was able to grow up with other kids
while he studied and developed. He certainly was a prodigy - everyone who heard him recognized that - but he
had the good fortune of growing up in a healthy and nourishing environment. His playing continues to evolve
in fascinating ways."

I think exactly so as Dr. Taylor, and want to add; I found also an impression from unforgettable Art Tatum on
Eldar; he is a prodigy although his young age...

Thanks again StSavoy, for sharing this album...
Regards...

I want to explain what I want to say by "touch" above. In my language we say it "tuşe", but I'm not sure if it's
the correct word in English (touch). For example; to balance the 5 fingers with the same volume; takes many years from a pianist. You can try simply in a table, first 3 fingers of your hand (beginning from thumb) are more strenght than the last two. In a good "touch", all the 5 fingers must be capable to sound exactly at the same volume. If it's not like that, you feel it quickly. (An example for this is, unforgettable jazz-man Thelonious Monk. Unfortunately, he began to practice piano very late, therefore his touch is a bit poor for me. When he plays, sometimes I found the piano , like it has wrongly-accorded. For me of course... But of course again, he is an excellent compositor and harmonist in jazz; he gave many wonderful standards to jazz; like "'Round Midnight,
Well You Needn't, Blue Monk", etc. Therfore it's no problem his piano is a little bit poor, I love him a lot also...

("Touch" is not limited with technical abilities, it has a sensative dimension also; therefore I'm respecting
to Eldar's "touch" here, the miracle young-pianist...)

Por favor estoy muy interesado en este lp. La pirmera parte dice estar corrupta y no se extrae el segundo tema 'Nature Boy'. Serías tan amable de volver a subir la primera parte? Gracias.

The first part is corrupted, and de the second song Nature Boy doesn't extract. Can you upload it again? I'm very very interested in this lp. Thanks
