Utterly brilliant singer/songwriter pop, a la Joel and the like, from the insanely talented and self-destructive Nilsson, containing not only the goofy Coconut, but also the absolutely stellar, staggering, and incredible Without You, quite possibly one of the best ballads ever. (To be fair, it's not a Nilsson song, instead written by Badfinger, but their version pales in comparison to this, the definitive rendition...) Nilsson's much touted multi-octave range is indeed wonderfully expressive, and these songs, including Jump Into The Fire and Gotta Get Up and a cover of Let The Good Times Roll... A pop gem that has been sadly forgotten by the last few generations...
