"Back With A Heart" certainly isn't the type of multi-channel disc that's used as a demonstration disc, but it is a satisfying listening experience nevertheless. The multi-channel mix takes a subtle approach, never hitting you over the head with the use of the various channels. The sound is crystal clear and has a nice punch to it.

The album was recorded in Nashville and marked a return to the U.S Country charts after an absence of almost twenty years. The album featured the single "I Honestly Love You," a re-recording of her 1974 #1 song featuring vocals by Babyface. The song was released in two versions - the album version for Pop and AC radio and a remix for Country radio. The title track was also issued only as a vinyl 45 single in the United States. The album track, "Love Is a Gift", won Newton-John a 1999 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Song after being featured on the daytime serial, As the World Turns. "Precious Love" was also a single from the album, with the accompanying music video getting a lot of airplay on CMT. The album reached #9 on the US Billboard Country Charts in 1998. Olivia co-wrote seven of the eleven tracks and the album was produced many of Nashvilles top producers including: Don Cook (Brooks & Dunn), Gary Burr (Faith Hill), Tony Brown (George Strait, Reba McEntire) and David Foster. This is a great album made even better by this DTS release.
