it's not a complete discography or something like that.

Being a fan of high quality recordings made me realize (after a long time)
that REMASTERED editions doesn´t mean better recording quality. REMASTERED editions
sometimes COMPRESS digital data in order to get more VOLUME out of a CD or digital file.
This compression compromises the quality of the recordings. FIRST editions CDs didn´t
compress as much as new releases... although they sound quieter and maybe not as "clear" (quote)
as remastered editions. Personally, (call me crazy) I rather listen to a LP, or a first edition
CD than a Remaster edition. I enjoy dinamic range (a generous "space" between quiet and loud parts)
Nowadays, modern CDs seems to be ALWAYS LOUD. and that compromises the original recording character.
my 2 cents, I might be wrong as always.

First editions are out of print. If you can find them, GRAB ´em. :) Let your ears judge what you
like. Peak levels on first editions, some MFSL and LP rips are gentle: not above 96% or such.

At first, it may sound a bit dull to those used to listen to remastered ones and
over compressed recordings, but pay attention to small details like subtle drums,
guitar tone and overall mix of the band.
and by the way, @marmaduke, it seems you´ve got a winner on this pack: MEDDLE. I´m giving it a try. NICE (very nice)
packaging, peak levels not over %96, on the log provided. Sound just slightly compressed, compared to my Vinyl release.

The scans for "A Saucerful Of Secrets" are wrong - they belong to an export LP, so I don't know which release this is.
