Weisemann said, "[it's] minimalist, with a really melancholic atmosphere. It's my style of piano. Xine is a soundtrack to a film that hasn't been made." We expect the results to be in the mode of some of the tunes that found their way onto Weisemann's latest a.r.t.less effort, Shove, which RA writer Chris Mann described as "brief, beatless and highly evocative, as if trying to mark out a mood in haiku or as sonic glyphs."
