Synergy "Cords"(1978)
FLAC & CUE | 96/24 Stereo | 9 X 100 MB +42 MB | Covers included
Genre: Electronic | Label: Passport PB-6000 | Source: LP Clear Vinyl 1st Pressing

Synergy's (Mr. Larry Fast) finest release, in my humble opinion.
The music in here is Grandiose, but also eerie. The fact that the original gatefold had a photo of the composer in front of one of the Twin Towers with a "Cord" connecting him to it is a bit disturbing. I am positive he was tapping into the muse of the Universe in here-maybe he saw how the future was , since the music fits the bleak world we only thought would exist in only our weirdest dark fantasies.
This LP will move you and you will not be the same person after hearing it.
Ripped at 96/24 resolution from a brand new sealed clear vinyl LP 1st Pressing : gatefold cover and states"Distributed by Arista Records", this LP will challenge your Stereo System and even better, it decodes almost perfectly on Surround with Dolby Pro Logic Music setting (Dimension=+1 /Panorama=ON).

This is an excellent album. Thank you very much.

It would be nice if you had more Synergy 24/96 albums to share. If possible, in separate tracks instead of one FLAC+CUE.

I'll slowly get going on Synergy, "Sequencer" "Electronic realizations..." and "Games"...I got "Audion" but don't know its condition.
Sorry, but I don't separate songs for now, I'll try it later...

This was one of many "cruisin" tapes back in '78-79. Beautiful album in a Dr. Phibes kind of way :-) I have the clear vinyl from back then but anxious to hear your transfer. I find Games to very interesting too, but in an even darker way. It starts out with an almost hopeful tone then takes a dive into a pool of dispair. I found most of the Synergy titles were best listened to stoned and with company (and long country cruises on the weekend nights were conducive for that). I would think those two titles might be a bit depressing to listen to straight and/or alone, but well see, it's been a long time, thanks!

BTW, you commented on the cover being somewhat eerie due to the cord between the towers. I wonder if there's any relevence between that and the French guy, Phillipe....., the one that walked between the twin towers? Wasn't that in the late 70's? Now you have me curious, good time to google that I think ;-)

I haven't had a DSL connection since August last year , so I can not upload (or basically download) anything big. This situation will remain until the bastards at the phone company decide to install a landline in my house., please accept my apologies, Empanadilla.
