Longneck Road - Texas Rock (2009)

Longneck Road is based in Beaumont, Texas. The band formed in early 2008, when Dick LeMasters, Robert Arena, and Miles Sykes came together with the goal of perfoming LeMasters’ original music, which they refer to as “Texas Rock”. The band performed in Southeast Texas and Southwestern Louisiana for the remainder of 2008. In early 2009, a lineup change added bass player Ron Arceneaux, a veteran of several bands, and an experienced performer at the regional level. With a new focus upon performing at concerts, events, fairs and festivals (although the band will never turn down any potential gig that sounds like fun), Longneck Road is working towards developing a broader following and towards expanding their market to include additional areas of Texas. Although the focus is on original music, Longneck Road also plays a mix of cover songs ranging from Steve Earle to Tony Joe White to Jimi Hendrix. The goal always centers on putting on the best show possible and making the concert, party, or other event a success.
