Advent Calendar Day 8: Ringo Starr

"It was 20 years ago today. Sergeant Pepper taught his band to play"

....and it wa 25 years ago today that one of that band 'played his music' for the last time. So the little door on the Calendar today is just white.......but on the other side it has a smiling face and a logo that reads 'celebrate the life, don't mourn the loss'

Well John didn't make a Christmas album as such, but Ringo did. This is a jolly, frothy, light and fun album, readily recognisable as Ringo - though there are also a few beatle-like touches. It is part of the celebration not a tribute*.

The album 'I Wanna be Santa Claus' you will only ever play once a year so it is not too bad that it is only cut at 128 kps:
