In the late 60's early 70's there started a group of Geordies (Blokes from Newcastle) who took thier name from the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. This Best of covers the early years, the band is still around though it lost its orignal leader/songwriter in 1995. I first saw them on their 1st reformation tour in the late 70's and then at one of their famous concerts over Christmas at Newcastle Town Hall. This best of is from their early material
