52nd Street is the sixth studio album by Billy Joel, released in 1978. It was also the first of many Joel albums to top the Billboard charts, along with his third and forth Grammy win. The track "My Life" benefited from the exposure it received when producers of the situation comedy Bosom Buddies used the song (performed by a different singer) as its theme. 52nd Street also became, in 1982, the first album to ever be released on compact disc.

Three songs reached the top 100 in the United States, helping to boost the success of the album. "My Life" reached #3, "Big Shot" reached #14, and "Honesty" reached #24. The album was also successful with critics, winning the 1979 Grammy for Album of the Year.

In 2003, the album was ranked number 352 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

You've been posting some terrific stuff, but I still haven't been able to figure out how to use this WavePack thing that you use. I want to convert the files into HQ V0 MP3s. Thanks.

If you need help converting files (like aksman's WavePack) use this:

http://rapidshare.com/files/66292123/dBpoweramp.rar

It's the proverbial Swiss Army Knife for handling audio media files. You can convert TO any format FROM any format and have complete flexibility on all the settings. It will also batch-convert multiple directories in part/whole and is an outstanding disc ripper.

Just remember to share the fruits of your labors with the rest of us music collectors!

@Poopy pants:

Pls my friend, don`t convert it into MP3... Just put it on cd and enjoy the great quality on your home stereo.

But seriusly, check www.wavpack.com and you find everything to burn, convert and whatever.
On http://www.burrrn.net/?page_id=4 you find "Burrrn!" which is a nice little freeware tool to burn nearly everything on cd-r.
