Emily Remler - Together (with Larrry Coryell) and This is Me

Recently 'lalomir' has posted a number of Larry Coryell albums and that gives a nice segue into this post, for first up is Emily Remeler and Larry Coryell - Together.

You may or may not have heard of Emily Remler but she was a jazz guitarist who was influenced by guitarists such as Wes Montgomery and Herb Ellis. She had the potential to become the best female jazz guitarist ever but, tragically, she died in her very early thirties of a heart attack. How good was she? Well you can judge over the nexr few days as her albums appear (at least the ones I have) but Larry Coryell recorded the duo album with her and he ain't a bad judge.............
