Roy Roberts - It's Only You (2008)
EAC Rip | FLAC (Image) + CUE + LOG | Covers | 236 MB
Genre: Blues/Modern Electric | Label: Rock House Records | Catalog Number: 00332
RAR 5% Rec. | FilePost + Rapidshare | Release Date: Apr 3, 2008

Roy Roberts is the bridge between Memphis Soul and Contemporary Blues. He exemplifies this music form, a healthy amalgam of Memphis Soul & Modern Electric Blues replete with real horns and stinging guitar licks. In today's market he's a hero to me being that today's "Southern Soul" is mostly machined-programmed and heavy on double entendre while Contemporary Blues is dominated by Blues/Rock bluster.....

Genre: Country/Folk/Blues | Label: Red House Records | Catalog Number: 206
RAR 5% Rec. | FilePost + Rapidshare | Release Date: May 8, 2007

For his sixth album, Canadian singer/songwriter Ray Bonneville went into the studio with producer Gurf Morlix, and it turned out to be an inspired choice. Goin' by Feel has a loose, darkly funky vibe that's an ideal match for Bonneville's rich, blues-influenced guitar work, and the spare but resonant interplay between the guitars and the clanky, rattling percussion beds fits these songs like the proverbial glove.....

The blues queen of Finland Erja Lyytinen and Eric Clapton have other things in common besides the blues. One being that they are both much more exciting live than they are on their polite and polished studio albums. Erja’s live-cd/dvd is a part of the Songs From The Road series. The album was recorded in Savoy theatre last fall and it finally showcases Lyytinen in an environment where she is at her best.

Monster Mike Welch - Catch Me (1998)
EAC Rip | FLAC (Image) + CUE + LOG | Covers | 369 MB
Genre: Blues/Modern Electric | Label: Tone-Cool | Catalog Number: 1167
RAR 5% Rec. | FilePost + Rapidshare | Release Date: Jun 9, 1998

In the kid-blues sweepstakes, "Monster" Mike Welch was one of the first on the scene and one who quickly got lost in the shuffle. This probably had more to do with his non-Hanson-like looks (à la Kenny Wayne and Johnny Lang) than his actual talent on his instrument, never a real consideration in these matters. Therefore in a move to distance himself from the pack and grab a little credibility in the bargain, his third album finds him dropping the teeny bopper "Monster Mike" tag, growing a beard, and scowling into the camera whenever possible.....

Studebaker John - Old School Rockin'
Blues Rock | mp3 CBR 320 kbps | 73:47 min | 169 MB
Label: Delmark | Tracks: 14 | Rls.date: 2012-02-21

Studebaker John has always had one foot in the blues and one foot in rock & roll, but always liked the raw less-is-more sound that he first heard on Chicago's Maxwell St. Artists that recorded blues and R&B songs like Elvis, Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, Jimmy Reed, Freddy King, Slim Harpo all had hit records played on the AM radio Top 100. Then Bob Dylan shook things up with his going electric at the Newport Folk Festival (using the Butterfield Blues Band as his back up). Then came the English bands and some of them were very good, still a raw sound, even louder and faster than before. But enough of history! This album is one for the people, 14 all new original songs called Old School Rockin'.
