Here is it, the real thing. Kleiber conducts the Bayerische Staatskapelle in an electrifying and stunning account of Beethoven's Symphony no 7. This is a much more spontaneous account that the previous Vienna Philharmonic and Concertgebouw versions.

The recording of Symphony no 4 is from the same concert. Again, an intense, joyful performance that is different from the Concertgebouw version.
