John Williams-Romance of the guitar

John Williams - Classic Williams - Romance of the Guitar (Repost)
released May 2, 2000 | Classical guitar album | FLAC lossless compression | 297 MB

From amazon.com

Guitarist John Williams (no, not John Williams the soundtrack composer) adds to his fine catalog of impeccable recordings with Classic Williams: Romance of the Guitar. But this isn't just a best-of collection (though some of his greatest work is included here) since the disc contains three new recordings. Among the new tracks, Fauré's Pavane is a real stunner, a short but gorgeous piece originally meant for orchestra and choir, where Williams's guitar sounds as though it always belonged there. We get Williams at his most interpretative--his arrangements of Satie's Gymnopedie No. 3 and Piazzolla tango Verano porteno--and his most serene (the "Cavatina" theme from the movie Deer Hunter). Let's face it, some fine classical guitarists can lull their listeners into near comatose states with their instrument; Williams, on the other hand, is just the opposite. His gorgeous tone, inventive arrangements, and interesting repertoire continue to make the classical guitar sound exciting. In short, a great introduction to Williams and a real gem for lovers of classical guitar. --Jason Verlinde

Great collection, thank you !

7Zip seems to unpack, but produces 0-Byte-Files (as stated later by jporres)

Thank you Dobermann1.
But once joined with 7zip, I cannot open the archiv. Or better, I open the archiv, but appear defective files of 0 kb. I do not know where the error is. Again, thanks.

I confirm the integrity of the files (I tried and I did not find any problem). The problem may come from hjsplit (under windows ?!).
Use 7zip directly to assemble and uncompress the archive.
7zip (available for several OS) may be downloaded at http://www.7-zip.org/.
Let me know if there is any problem.

I have again all 3 files. I use 7zip directly to assemble and uncompress them. But ...appear defective files of 0 kb ...and "cannot open the archiv".
It is that only happens to me?

With the latest version of 7zip I assembled and uncompressed the files successfully.
Thanks again !

this simply DOES NOT WORK....jpores is 100% correct

why can't you post in formats that are easy to follow & understand...like most others do on here????

I am a pensioner with a limited download plan....and I simply can't afford to waste 300Mb....which I have just done.

am sad...because I really wanted this album :((((
I won't touch any of your posts ever again

Try the latest version of 7zip (4.57). You can download it here (~800 K)
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/7z457.exe
Unfortunately the soft to create rar files under linux is a shareware.
If you have a crack, let me know.

dear tartar,
you should know that some ascii chars are illegal at filenames in some systems e.g. : / \,
so if you try to make us permanently happy, please, don't use them in your next releases ...

ps:and it'll be better to use RAR:
