1950 was a great year for Maria Callas and also for mexican opera house: Bellas Artes. She sang that year Norma, Tosca, Il Trovator and of course the legendary performance of Aida. Here is the recording of Il Trovator with Leonard Warren, Giulieta Simionato, Kurt Baum, Nicola Moscona. Orchestra and Chorus from Bellas Artes Opera House, conducted by Guido Picco.
