Beethoven: String Quartets opp. 74 & 95 [HMU807460] Tokyo String Quartet
Classical | Exact Audio Copy (ape+cue+no log)+scans | 1CD/228MB | RS.com

The Tokyo String Quartet continues its complete Beethoven cycle with this third volume. Both the graceful op.74 (nicknamed ‘Harp’ for its use of pizzicato) and op.95, with its quest for the essential, testify to the new maturity achieved by the composer around 1810.

Dvorak: Lieder [HMC901824] Bernarda Fink, Robert Vignoles
Classical | Exact Audio Copy (ape+cue+no log)+scans | 1CD/209MB | RS.com

Dvorák wrote no fewer than ninety-three songs for solo voice and piano, not counting the solo pieces for voice and organ and the numerous duets. In his songs he carried on the tradition of Schubert and Schumann, but – as the composer’s biographer Kurt Honolka has put it – with the essential addition of the vitamins of Czech folk music.

Fauré: Sonatas Pour Violon et Piano [HMC901741] Isabelle Faust, Florent Boffard
Classical | Exact Audio Copy (ape+cue+no log)+scans | 1CD/268MB | RS.com

More than forty years elapsed between the composition of Gabriel Fauré's first Violin Sonata and that of the Second. 'Over all of this hovers a charm that bathes the whole work, and makes the mass of ordinary listeners accept the most extreme strokes of daring as if they were perfectly natural.' (Camille Saint-Saëns)

Mahler: Das Lied von der Erde [HMC901477] Remmert, Blochwitz, Herreweghe, Ensemble Musique Oblique
Classical | Exact Audio Copy (ape+cue+no log)+scans | 1CD/253MB | RS.com

A Christmas Collection [HMU907202] Paul Goodwin, The Academy of Ancient Music
Classical | Exact Audio Copy (ape+cue+no log)+scans | 1CD/295MB | RS.com

Baltic Voices 1 [HMU907311] Paul Hillier, Estonian Philarmonical Chamber Choir
Classical | Exact Audio Copy (ape+cue+no log)+scans | 1CD/282MB | RS.com

Paul Hillier leads the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir in Volume 1 of Baltic Voices — a three-year project to explore the choral riches of the Baltic Sea countries. With a special attention to the choir’s native Estonia, these recordings will highlight the mainstream tradition of the past hundred years, complemented with music of earlier periods and commissions from younger composers. Volume 1 features secular and sacred works by 20th-century composers from Sweden, Finland, Latvia, and Estonia.“pure and impassioned, astounding choral artists.” (The Wall Street Journal)

Baltic Voices 2 [HMU907331] Paul Hillier, Estonian Philarmonical Chamber Choir
Classical | Exact Audio Copy (ape+cue+no log)+scans | 1CD/213MB | RS.com

Paul Hillier leads the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir in Volume 2 of Baltic Voices - a pioneering project to explore the choral riches of the Baltic Sea countries, with special attention to the choir's native Estonia. This program features sacred music from all 3 branches of Christianity which are practiced in the Baltic region: Orthodox (Schnittke, Grigorjeva), Catholic (Sisask, Tulev), and Protestant (Nørgard).A "luminous and powerful ensemble" - The New Yorker

Baltic Voices 3 [HMU907391] Paul Hillier, Estonian Philarmonical Chamber Choir
Classical | Exact Audio Copy (ape+cue+no log)+scans | 1CD/281MB | RS.com

The Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir continues its exploration of the choral riches of the Baltic region with Vol. 3 of the series, featuring music of established figures (BERGMAN, GÓRECKI, GUDMUNDSEN-HOLMGREEN) and recent works by the younger generation (SAARIAHO, TÜÜR)."Luminous voices and impeccable tuning." - Classic FM

Canta la Maddalena [HMC901698] Maria Cristina Kiehr, Jean-Marc Aymes, Concerto Soave
Classical | Exact Audio Copy (ape+cue+no log)+scans | 1CD/275MB | RS.com

Magdalene at the foot of the Cross. The theme of the deploration represents one of the keystones of the Italian baroque revolution in the first half of the 17th century. These lamenti constituted the ideal framework for putting into practice the latest discoveries in expressive solo singing. Freed from the subtleties of counterpoint, it was now able to communicate the emotion expressed in the words directly to the listener. In this respect sacred music was not far behind and it is easy to understand why the plaints of Mary Magdalene at the foot of the Cross were so abundant, especially in Rome where religious music had always occupied a more important position than elsewhere. The solo motets of Rossi, Agneletti, Mazzocchi and Frescobaldi bear dazzling witness to this
specifically Roman musical activity.

Chorégraphie - Music for Louis XIVs dancing masters [HMU907335] Andrew Lawrence-King
Classical | Exact Audio Copy (ape+cue+no log)+scans | 1CD/281MB | RS.com

Raoul-Auger Feuillet's Choregraphie (Paris, 1700) changed ballet history forever with its pioneering use of dance notation. Virtuoso harpist Andrew Lawrence-King performs music by Lully and Campra in solo settings by d'Anglebert, chosen by Feuillet to represent the noble style of French dance at the court of the 'Sun King'.

Monastic Song [HMU907209] Peter Abelard, Codex Las Huelgas

Again a fantastic share of You, Flush!
Many thanks!
May I have a request: Would You like please to add to Your posts the date of release? It's so tedious for me to googling for each album.
I hope, that this is not too much work additional to Your efforts.

Thank You very much in advance._

Hey Flush,
I have asked You, if You would like, PLEASE, to add the date of release at Your posts. If You don't want to do it, I think, a simply 'No', it would be enough for me. Seriously 'dude' :-)
Peace._

Forgive me my sarcasm! It comes very easy to me. Besides I forgot that "please" is the magic word that justifies every question and every request. Sorry!

I already spend hours and hours preparing these uploads for you so it really puzzles me how someone can ask me to do something that is so irrelevant for the music and so easy to find. I offer all information needed to identify exactly which recordings I have uploaded. Could you pleeease do the rest yourself? Thank you! :-)

Thank you Flush as always. Good stuff here, much of which I'd never heard of before. I find that exciting. I'm admittedly curious about the Baltic Voices sets now.

To all who just keep on complaining about irrelevant things on the wonderful series provided by Flush: I also have to look for the release date of some of the Cds he posts, and I do certainly have most of them already in my collection (originals and downloaded), but even so I really appreciate his efforts and would never dare complaining about unimportant things or show myself unhappy because Flush has commited the terrrible sin of posting something that I already have.

Many, many thanks, Flush!

@All
Thanks for the kind words! It means alot to know that you care and appreciate what I do here. :-)

Regarding what some describe as plain re-ups. I just include previously posted material into the HM Project along the way as I re-rip them in proper EAC DCImage format (ape+cue+log). If you dont care for this upgrade, just dont download it. It's very simple. :-)

FLUSH, first of all, I think there is not a way enough appropriate to say thank you for such magnificent work. I know many, many people have said this before, but believe me, I am extremely happy with this amazing collection. Thank you again, from Colombia, South America. As Leontios mentioned I could not find either the part 36 of the collection. Could you please tell us if that part exist and if that is correct, would it be possible to re upload, abusing of your time and generosity?
Posted By: Flush Date: 21 Dec 2009 20:39:35
Dear friends! I'm glad to share with such good people. Enjoy! :-)

Regarding Vol.36 of the HM Project I'm afraid it has been lost during some kind of AvaxHome "upgrade". Unfortunately I dont have backups of the news code so is beyond recovery. I hope you can live without it.

Best regards
Flush

Can Flush or someone who already had this volume confirm about this link?
