Many thanks, chzhzhang. AAC is great. And, by the way, if you use 7-Zip to unpack you don't need to join the files separately beforehand.

Of course, booklet scans would be truly delightful. Any chance?

To citromos: If you extract correctly there would be m4a files playable by iTunes, or many other options like cog/play/XLD in Mac.

To crab9: Unfortunately I do not have the scans...too lazy to do that before I sold the discs. If memory serves me right, most of the booklet were pictures of the Maestro available from elsewhere.

To leonz2: I ripped with Max (then the best available software for mac) at 24bit to Wav files. There were no errors. Max is extremely bad in recognizing track information and names (back then XLD wasn't available), so I used iTunes to import the lossless version instead. If there is any error just let me know and I can replace the tracks.

To all the rest friends: I will upload some other unavailable recordings of the Maestro. Up on the schedule are Stradivarius set of concertos, some AS Disc releases and Intaglio discs, and a Music and Arts 4-disc set (not in good sound as you would imagine). You are welcome to request other recordings or performances of the Maestro that you are missing. Just reply to this post

Dear chzhzhang,
thanks, but I'm not a Mac user. Converters I know provide a much lower quality. Do You know something to convert it into flac?

@citromos and anyone else who has a problem with AAC. Use dBpoweramp to convert into a wide choice of formats. Very easy.

@DanseDePuck. Thanks.

use winamp 5.5 and above plus their winamp extras pack, which actually adds ability to read/convert ALAC files.
get those .m4a-s into playlist or media library and use right-click->send-to: format converter. then select flac.
That's easy ;)
