Yes, maybe it's a joke ! And Reactionary is the appropriate word. All in his music and his texts (racism, homophoby,conservatism, he expressed in some texts his love for USA at the moment they were implicated in Vietnam war...) are reaction. He can enter the category "arrière-garde".
