As a complement to the extraordinary music on this recording:
Anahit (pdf - full score): tinyurl.com/mdzx35
Hurqualia - Hymnos - Chukrum (ape/cue - Accord - Wyttenbach): tinyurl.com/n3w7df
Aion - Pfhat - Konx-Om-Pax (ape/cue - Accord - Wyttenbach): tinyurl.com/kul2qq

Imho, Anahit is one of the most amazing and haunting pieces ever written in music history. If you want to know how Scelsi wrote down what he heard in his head, you should definitely check out the score, especially the violin solo part. I only wish someday I'll be hearing this being performed live. I guess the old theatre in Taormina would make an excellent venue for this. To hear this poem for Venus, make love, and die. Or make love again. And again.
So, how's that for a cheerful note on a dreary sunday morning? Love you too ...

IZ, I initially thought of uploading all three CDs but have since backed out. It occurred to me that hopscotch serves only one purpose, viz. reuploading peachfuzz's previous posts. :)

I trust that you will fill the void (??). <hugs>

I've been looking for a lossless version of Uaxuctum, and here it is. Thank you.

I'm waiting for Diamanda Galas to add her spicy vocals to one or two of Scelsi's compositions. Would be a perfect combination.

O, I forget: couple of weeks ago, when I was in a Scelsi craze, I saw you'd posted a very rare album a long time ago - Canti del Capricorno. If you're reposting anyway, you might consider that one? I'm sure many people would appreciate it...I only saw it when it was dead & buried already.
