sooo... this is it... it's kind of saddening to know this project has come to an end. But man, what project you did. Truly unique and one of the best, if not THE BEST comprehensive series of electroacoustic music. I take a deep bow and thank you for all the work and efforts!

Many Many Many THANX to you... What a great job you did... It'll take some hours to ear all this music but with great pleasure...

I'd like to express the same feelings as michel1968...all is in now, and a kind of melancholy feeling is left. It's finished.
We have a collection of music to explore for many years. Thank you for your quiet perseverance & reliability.

Oh no, is this the last one...? How time flies. Now the only thing left to do is locking myself up in a shack for 62 days and getting back nice and slow to this historical contribution of yours. The immense work you put in into is above a mere "thank you", so please accept a mental handshake of the manly-eloquent kind

Muito, muito, mas muitissimo obrigado pela colecao!!!! Wow, I'm definitely a richer man now. My next step: I've just rented a cabin in the woods. Planning to listen to all this, carefully, over two weeks. Hope some wild animals will join me for the experience... What's your next project? Valeu!

It is bittersweet to see this end.
Thank you so much for your time, effort, patience, work and trouble.
All of us appreciate what you've done here.

Quite an achievement! I applaud your selfless effort in bringing this to the masses. I must remark on those electroacoustic composers that I thought would be represented, but are strangely absent. Namely, Tod Dockstader and Michel Chion. I also thought that some of the works included in this series were avant-garde but certainly not electroacoustic. John Cage's tape collage work in my opinion is not eletroacoustic but I know that some will strongly disagree with me here. Anyway, I treasure this body of work and can say without hesitation that it is the crown jewel of the music I have acquired here on Avaxhome. Thanks again Caiobarros. If anyone can mention any other electroacoustic heavy weights missing, I'm interested.

GRAZIE DI TUTTO MITICO CAIOBARROS!!!

@ frostymug :

I've found on Avax interesting works by the French composer Jean-Luc hervé Berthelot (the Zreen Toyz project).
Search 'Zreen toyz' tag.

Someone can post other works by this composer ? In my opinion, he's better than some 'great' names.

Thank you all for following my uploads. It was no that altruist, I got some free Rapidshare Premium accounts ;)
The semester is ending and I'll get very very busy now, but soon I'll post some other nice (and rare) stuff.
If someone is really thankful, how about creating a .txt file with all the links? ;) I'm planning to do that, but it will take a while since now I must focus on other things. A torrent with all the albuns would be nice too, and would spread a little more this collection since in this case there is no "Rapidshare wall".

frostymug: Of course there are some composers missing but 1) in my defense: I was not the one that build this collection, I only uploaded it, and 2) I think that for one single collection it is long enough as it is.

see you guys soon

I've made a .txt file here. Just the links & album numbers in descending order (62-01), I didn't mention the contents of the cds.
Pm'd the links to you

@caiobarros:

Words cannot express how incredible this collection is. Being that many of the creators who made this unforgettable music are not with us anymore, it is only fitting that this unofficial series would help keep their genius alive and appreciated by most of us, as we were not around when these revolutionary, groundbreaking sounds were created.

There is at least already one torrent somewhere (I just saw it actually, it's over 17 gigs so not for the faint of heart!!), but it is on a private site, the name of which is not really supposed to be circulated so I will abstain from making any mentions of it here. But surely someone will take this and it will most likely appear on the 'noid in a matter of days, which will ensure its wide and continued circulation?

This is really a series of exceptional value, and wish there was some way to express my gratitude for all of the work that went into making this possible!!

What a wonderful journey this has been. Many many thanks for it all.

I had lost my personal collection to old tapes and traitorous players.

I am without words for all this.

CD 53 seems ok from here...
Posted By: FreddieCouples Date: 09 Jan 2011 17:57:46
Actually they are ok indeed when you download them from your original page for CD 53 - and this post only has four (4) files. They are down on the link list d'Avignon prepared, and there CD 53 has five (5) links...so now I'm confused. ;-)

Anyway, your original links are still alive and kicking!
Posted By: caiobarros Date: 10 Jan 2011 21:29:46
That's because d'Avignon's list was made before I have to do some re-uploads. So it is a little bit outdated unfortunately. CD53 has 4 files.

@caiobarros:

I can't be thankful enough for this outstanding collection you offered us... while downloading it, I copied every tracklist and data from every disc, and put it into a single txt file, as personal future reference. I don't know if it had already done, but in a second thought, I considered that sharing this list would be useful for someone else, and, also, be a tiny way to thank for this glorious body of work you offered.

So, the complete tracklist can be downloaded from here: http://www.mediafire.com/?3apsgo934k9gwa2

and many, many, many thanks again, caiobarros.
