Peachfuzz does it again.

Oddly enough I found this post via a search for Jonathan Elias The Prayer Cycle.

Nevertheless, I first heard Cohen in the early 1970's when the album Songs of Leonard Cohen was released in my country. He had the most amazing lyrics which influenced me deeply, such as "You are locked into your suffering and your pleasures are the seal".

Philip Glass needs no introduction, the name says it all.

Thanks Peachfuzz
