Friedemann Herz – Zeit: Zeitgenössische Orgelmusik (1993)
Classical/contemporary | FLAC lossless | cuesheets+log | covers+booklet | 57m45s | 194mb
Label: Koch Schwann | cat.no. Schwann 313892

Modern compositions for church organ; of special interest may be the last track from Hans Joachim Hespos, whom I didn't know until recently. Right when you're wondering if Herz is supposed to be climbing the woodworks of the organ rather than playing the keyboards, you're suddenly alerted by a couple of memorable blasts and off we go.

Tracks:

01. Wolfgang Rihm - Bann, Nachtschwarmerei (1980) [0:16:14.12]
02. Peter Ruzicka - Z-Zeit (1976) [0:08:48.48]
03. Morton Feldman - Principal Sound (1980) [0:18:28.35]
04. Giacinto Scelsi - In Nomine Lucis (1974) [0:08:43.20]
05. Hans Joachim Hespos - SNS (1975) [0:05:31.20]

Performer:

Friedemann Herz – organ

Thanks, sounds interesting. I am also interested in your choice of hosts. Rapidshare is pretty good for free users at the moment, and I assume this is because they want to try and win back some good will with consumers after stuffing them around so much. Most of their traffic has gone to Filesonic. Filepost is a new player, and up to now I thought they were pretty good, but I can't get Filepost to download for this link for some reason (using Jdownloader).

@Skipper123

Filepost was suggested by avax. I thought I'd give them a try as a second host. No more than that. So far, this my first upload to the service was slow compared to RS, at about half the speed my connection allows. I just tried to download the filepost link as a free user. That's @300kb/ps, not unreasonable.
RS will always remain my first choice. I hear things for free users have improved

I switched over to FileSonic because many uploaders switched over from RS to FS. For downloaders FS is fine and free use of RS is rather comfortable now.
Many thanks and regards from The Netherlands.
