Bacewicz was an acknowledged violin virtuoso, and a very accomplished piano player as well. Therefore, her works for piano solo should not go unnoticed.
Oh, I think I mentioned she wrote books too? Some people can do it all. It leaves us ordinary mortals wondering why the gods heap their gifts on a single person’s head so disproportionately, when most people’s creative ideas won’t cross any more spectacular boundaries than those of the shower.

Ewa Kupiec performs. You see her portrait on the cover. I was lucky to find that front in a reasonable quality on the net, for the stickers on the cover of my library copy had done enough damage to make its restoration impossible. Sometimes I can mend things, sometimes I can’t. Booklet and back are OK, though. As is the music, which is essential.
