Jonathan Harvey – Imaginings (2000)

This record is a result of a spontaneous improvisation from Harvey and Uitti in the former’s own studio. Let it flow and see what happens. As the booklet says, the only manipulation of sound existed in eliminating the howling of Harvey’s dog. Now what if they’d left it in, I wonder. Although I do not think the beast would have enhanced the final product, it might have emphasized the already spicy ingredients, for sure.
