If you’re thinking, what do we need a model from a flashy teenage boy/girl magazine for on the cover of a classical album? Let there be no misunderstanding, it’s a portrait of one of our most promising Dutch composers, Michel van der Aa. This is how he looked like when this photo was shot, he must have been thirty or thereabouts. His youthful features form a strange contrast with the contents of this double album. You can be sure a remarkably mature composer is at work here.
