Susan Boyle - I Dreamed A Dream (2009)
Vocal | MP3 320KBps | 100MB | English

I Dreamed A Dream is the forthcoming debut album from Scottish singer Susan Boyle. It is due to be released on 23 November 2009 by Syco Music in the UK, on 24 November 2009 by Columbia Records in the US, and worldwide through Sony Music. I Dreamed A Dream became Amazon.com's best-selling album in pre-sales on 4 September 2009, three months before the scheduled release. The first single from the album is to be "Wild Horses", a song originally recorded by The Rolling Stones. Boyle explained why she decided to cover the song: "How could you help but be drawn in by this haunting theme? It conjures up memories of childhood amongst Council Estates, poverty and struggle in the first verse. Irony and bitterness – One of my personal favorites and an emotional release."

Woow!!!!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!

Firstly, this is not classic music.
Secondly, posting this UK reality-show winner here is a travesty.
Posted By: mhornbach Date: 21 Nov 2009 15:11:51
@savt:
First: where does it say that this is classical music?

Second: I agree that posting any winner of these soulless popularity contests here would normally be a travesty. Susan Boyle, however, has enough talent and deserves the right to share her art and love for music with the rest of us. At least she's not some braindead, mass-produced, hollow wannabe who's only desire is to get rich and famous through slut-like looks like 99% of the bimbo's in the business. Not that I have anything against sluts, though. I just think that they should be left where they belong: behind a showcase window.

Cheers to the OP!

AVAX gets it all right away. why not' I prefer this singer's worst moment to everything by the dead creep michael jackson pos. Susan Boyle is all right with me and good for all avax posters. don't like it don't dl it. simple.

Where does it say it's a classical music? It says it when I open the classical section and see it! Don't know how can that be, but it's a fact.

Don't know about the deep legacy of this particular lady, but that's sliding, next you will have people telling same things about every other reality show star, they all have their own groupies, you know.

It's difficult to classify this album - it includes Amazing Grace and Silent Night so somehow could also be cross-posted in Classical section.

I don't search for albums by genre. I look at all albums since my last visit so whatever sub category it winds up at doesn't matter to me. And I have been looking forward to hearing this album. What some may call a travesty, others call a great share. savt is correct about every reality show winner has their own groupies. What is the harm in posting all their albums and let their groupies download them. Those of us that don't want those albums can skip them. I know I want this one. Thanks a lot barcabarca!
Posted By: savt Date: 21 Nov 2009 17:04:19
Yes, post every reality show contestant disks along with Beethoven and Mozart because a lot of stuff there can be "cross-posted".
Then, of course, everyone that actually does look for classical music in the Classical section can just skip all those.
Good thinkin'!

Friends, let´s face the facts:
1) This is not classical recording, so should not be here;
2) This lady is a bathroom singer, so don´t deserve all this fame;
3) Shis a mere product of the hunt-money industry.
Posted By: Highender Date: 21 Nov 2009 18:01:15
Not a real problem for me just wonder why (for example) my posts becoming carefully controlled to every detail befor "active" and i received a "refused" if i missed a tiny penny. However in this case i have a black eye and be happy for the other real fine shares you great ppl. on avax offer.

@mgirao:
Hmm, let's analyze your "facts" shall we?

1) This is not classical recording, so should not be here;
Alright, I'll give you that.

2) This lady is a bathroom singer, so don´t deserve all this fame;
What do you mean by "deserving fame"?
So you're telling me that Britney the botard, J-Lo the glorified tub scrubber and all of the other bimbos have real talent and can actually sing without the assistance of a computer? You have got to be kidding...

3) Shis a mere product of the hunt-money industry.
Cynical much?
You seriously believe that the "industry" is actually looking for 50-some year old fugly pop stars now? Common! The lady may not be solid gold but she can sing way better than most of the "pop stars" we get subjected to these days.

Mhornbach, you are right, thats the way I think and thank you barcabarca for sharing.
Posted By: Tlon Date: 21 Nov 2009 19:56:22
Please, close your eyes, listen at this voice and tell me if this simply deserves to be qualified "music"...
Posted By: opus1 Date: 21 Nov 2009 22:09:12
I agree with mhornbach. If such fabricated and slut-looking (all looks and no talent!) 'artists' like the ones cited above (Britney et al) have all that following and fame, then what does this lady (Ms. Boyle) deserve??? 'Bathroom singer' indeed!!

Not purely classical ok, but then there are other non-classical posts in this section. Still, I believe it somehow fits here :)

Thanks for this barcabarca! :)

mhornbach, you're right!
Thanx for the very botard & cellulite Britney, oh my God, what an ugly and silly horse...
Thanx for the fat ass and no really singing woman named jlo...
Thanx for all the singing bimbo women of this (new music?) world...

Who on earth believes that some women can really singing? That's just a little buzz.
Maybe someone... but me and many many people of this world, not!!!
Susan Boyle is not a famous star with a sopran voice, but, she singing from the heart.
You know, some guys can easy skip this album but they will have to learn to speak without
criticism about an old singing woman. A real shame!

Susan has the voice of an angel. I know that sounds like hyperbole, but she's phenomenal! She's not phony at all. I agree with mhornbach's assessment - all the pop 'singers' out there that yodel, hyperventilate and warble all around a note without quite hitting it. It's all monotonous rubbish and the female singers all sound the same. How in hell they got contracts are beyond me.

Quick story: I was in the hair salon for a perm a few months back, and was in the shop for almost 4 hours. I thought I had died and gone to hell. The radio was on and the shite that passes for 'music' was like nails on a chalk board, and just about drove me insane. They all bloody sounded the same! (The male singers weren't any better)

Anyway those sluts and whores belong behind a showcase window alright - but with so many looking and sounding the same, where's the interest?

Thank you so very much for sharing this, barcabarca - very much appreciated! :) :)

Thanks!
Hey boys; This is Andrex from Greece!
I already purchased her debut CD from cduniverse.com! I believe that we deserves to pay our money for her instead to go all warez! She is a poor lady, unemployed and we must contribute to have a better career for the benefit of all of us. I would encourage all of you who are reading my message, to buy her debut CD. Don't hesitate. Its cost it is less than 10 USD $ !! Surely, we shall expect more and more from her through the next months and years. A tribute and a bless to her personality and her heavenly voice it must exchanged from all of us with the purchase of her dedut album!

Quote of sayt : Don't know about the deep legacy of this particular lady, but that's sliding, next you will have people telling same things about every other reality show star, they all have their own groupies, you know. (End of quote)

Dear sayt ... here it is not a question of "groupies" in this case. People laughed off her wen she presented herself for the first time on a big songfestival without any expectation, (BCC) because she did´nt look like the lady-star that everyone expected but as a rather corpulent some older housewife.
THEN ... she started her first song in public and it was like an explosion from the people there, an amazing voice with a very sensible timbre. She got notes as the greates winner all times on this festival and I adore personnaly her soft beautiful voice, almost like a warm boys voice from a choir.
Did you ever hear her, Try please, unless you like only metal and other bombarding music.
No, she do´nt belong to the typical classical music, you can also place her in pop music and so much more.
Now, millions of CD´s are sold from here with the most wonderful songs.

P.S.
The links are death.
