York Höller – Sphären – Der Ewige Tag (2010)

I don’t need to tell you that the Grawemeyer is the most prestigious award to be won in classical music, valued more than a grammy or an oscar.
Höller received it for his composition Sphären in 2010.

Note: the back cover has a strange misprint: it says the tracks 01 to 07 would be Sphären. It’s not in the Freedb.org database as such, and articles on the net decribe the composition as having six movements. Something similar happens with Der Ewige Tag; back cover says tracks 08-13, whereas freedb. returns it as one track only – number 07.
It doesn’t matter very much, the album was ripped as a single file anyway. It has the correct length.

According to the composer Sphären has six movements:

Mein Orchesterzyklus SPHÄREN besteht aus sechs Stücken. Die ersten fünf Stücke entstanden in den Jahren 2001 bis 2005. Nach dem Tod meiner Frau im Januar 2006 habe ich einen sechsten Satz hinzugefügt. Der gesamte Zyklus ist Ursula Höller-Heidemann in Liebe und Dankbarkeit gewidmet.

Die sechs Sätze (Klangbilder) tragen folgende Überschriften:
I. Wolkengesang
II. Windspiel
III. Erdschichten
IV. Regenkanon
V. Feuerwerk
VI. Sphärentrauer

I tried once, but pasha didn't accept it as a sole alternative to RS. I don't understand why. Perhaps because he's not familiar with Mirrorcreator. He does know Flameupload and Multiupload, though. I suppose he'd let that pass
