1988 proved to be the defining year when Grant and Forsyth made their first mark on the charts with a hit recording of the Walker Brother's classic, 'The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore' and The Ronettes 'Be My Baby'. Julie also found success as a songwriter, writing a song called 'Go' which came second in the Eurovision Song Contest, losing out by one point to the Swiss entry, sung by the then unknown, Celine Dion.

For Grant & Forsyth, 1990 was the turning point. The first album, 'Country Love Songs' went platinum in Holland in 1990 and this huge success was followed by a string of 'Country Love Songs' albums (including 'New Country Love Songs' in 2001), all of which earned gold and platinum award status. To date, Julie and Dominic have sold over 3 million albums in Holland alone making them the most successful husband and wife team in Europe.

Thanks yLe or Coyote...
I am downloading all your uploads, especially country music.
I don't write thanks for all your sends, but know that I thank thousand times for all of them.
I love country , but it is impossible to find country music in my country.
Thanks again & again.

leventino...numerous thanks are not necessary. I'm sorry you can't find country music locally. There are some great talents out there, with many unknown to the masses as they are on independent labels and not marketed globally. I'm just trying to introduce people to some of our homegrown talent.

My favorite place to purchase independents, if not directly from the artists at festivals I attend, is CD Baby because the artists receive more money per purchase.
