Tara Oram - Chasing The Sun (2008)

Tara was a contestant on the fifth season of Canadian Idol. She made it to the top 6 before being eliminated. She sang covers of Michelle Wright, Martina McBride, Shania Twain and Dwight Yoakam.

For her upcoming album, Tara asked her fans to submit songs for a contest. The winner was Jeff Callery who penned 'The Call'. He wrote, "This song was inspired by a good friend of mine who was killed in combat in Afghanistan in April of 2006. Until that day, the role and history of the Canadian Armed Forces was intangible to me. Symbolic and proud, but intangible."
