Various Artists - The Best Of Travelin' Texas (2006)

The Center For Texas Music History (CTMH) has released one live concert and three compilation CDs. Not only do these CDs document and promote the diverse genres of Texas music , they are also important in helping raise money to fund the CTMH’s many programs.

Each of the notable musicians featured on the Travelin' Texas CDs donated their songs in recognition of the CTMH’s importance. Asleep at the Wheel, Delbert McClinton, Marcia Ball, Tish Hinojosa, Ray Wylie Hubbard, George Strait, W.C. Clark, Eliza Gilkyson, Rosie Flores, Jerry Jeff Walker, Lavelle White, and many others are included. The first three volumes were consolidated into a “Best of Travelin’ Texas” CD (which is the posted compilation).
