Madge is a sort of hero for me. He spent 20 years off and on studying the Sorabji Opus Clavicembalisticum; then performed it five times and never again. Such commitment makes for a true artist in any age.

I was waiting for this, thank you Ysov!

I unfortunately do not fully respect Madge for performing Sorabji because he did it so badly (based on his BIS recording). I don't want to be on his case as this argument is so overdone, but seriously - if you're going to play something, why not do it properly? His achivement could be equaled by so many pianists who would have more self-respect than to do so... :\ Still, I am very glad for the exposure his performances have given Sorabji's music.

I am looking forward to Powell recording it, as he could take what Ogdon did (which was already great) and move it into potentially amazing territory.

Thank you so much, ysov, for the rare & precious piano (and organ) music. I wonder if someone could post Busoni's piano series on Naxos, performed by Wolf Harden? 6 volumes are already out...

Thank you, ysov, for the introduction.
And in light of fanny's comment, I'll give this a spin.

I will never forgive Sorabji for composing such boring music. But at least we have Medtner to listen to now...

Thanks a lot, ysov!
@f1zahe: what do you mean by "only half of CD1 and half of CD2"? The 2 complete CDs are in the 4 files...
