Warning: Electric Mud is a blues album with heavy psychedelic rock influences!
If you consider yourself to be a blues purist, then I would encourage you to look elsewhere for something that will be more compatible with your musical tastes.
This album was recorded in April 1968 and released October 1968, one week after Jimi Hendrix Electric Ladyland.
John Paul Jones, the Led Zeppelin bassist, has cited this album as the inspiration behind the song Black Dog.
