The Phoneheads get some great accompaniment here -- a full symphony orchestra joining in with their core mix of guitar, keyboards, turntables, and vocals from Cleveland Watkiss! The sound is somewhat abstract at points -- certainly more so than Cleveland's previous soul -- and the presence of the orchestra gives the best tunes a really majestic feel -- a style that's nicely complicated, and which gets past the simple electronics or downtempo modes you might expect from the group. Titles include "Second Sight", "Subject Beautiful", "Maracanenses", "A Dance", "Midnight Marauders", and "Roll That Stone". Package also features a PAL format DVD with the full concert, an encore, and behind the scenes footage! (Please note that the DVD is PAL coded, Region 9. Won't play in US DVD players, unless they are multi-region -- but might play on a computer.)
