About the Artists:
Vidna Obmana (stylized vidnaObmana on many album covers) is the pseudonym used by Belgian composer and ambient musician Dirk Serries. His music has often been described as isolationist ambient and organic ambient. He has chosen the name Vidna Obmana for his musical persona because it means "optical illusion" in some Slavic languages. Vidna Obmana has collaborated on several occasions with artists such as Asmus Tietchens, Brannan Lane, Capriolo Trifoglio, Diego Borotti, and Steve Roach. Some of these collaborations have become entire projects of their own, such as Continuum (collaboration with Bass Communion) and Principle of Silence (collaboration with Joris De Backer). Fear Falls Burning was a Vidna Obmana side project (now presumably his main project).

In an April 2007 statement on his website, Vidna Obmana has stated that his 23-year use of the pseudonym has always been for the purpose of focusing attention on his art and not on himself. In some venues, the appellation is rendered as VidnaObmana or Vidna Obmana. With that being said, Dirk Serries has ended Vidna Obmana as his focal artistic output. Vidna Obmana is often cited as one of the more notable dark ambient musicians.

Klinik, (sometimes called The Klinik), is an industrial music band from Belgium, originally formed around 1982 by electro-synthpop practitioner Marc Verhaeghen, who is the only constant member.
