Thanks to sorting supplied to me by Virovitica this album falls into Space Metal period. Eloy posted again, last time I wrote you my own opinion (I'll quote myself to increase 'the famous factor'.)

HellikXs:
Eloy are quite famous, but we can discuss their reputation only in Europe, I presume. In beginnings they might be innovative, but their style then developed into some status quo and for some time they'd continue issuing quite similar albums in style. It can be good for the fans - they always want to have 'more of the same', but there are generally borders in doing that sometimes I feel Eloy might cross them. So, these would be the cons.
About pros? Well, da Germans are technically proficient, musical ideas are good too, the lyrics are also different from the usual 'she loves me, she loves me not', this record is overall good -> very good. Not the best of their catalogue, just not the unique, not the breakthrough or the first one.

This is the pro of writing your own publications - you can write here whatever you wish, just avoid admin's attention ;-)

Some official info follows:
Wikipedia:
Eloy is a German progressive rock band, whose musical style includes symphonic and space rock, the latter theme being more prevalent on earlier albums. The band took their name from the Eloi, a futuristic race of people in the H.G. Wells novel The Time Machine.
Founded in 1969 by guitarist Frank Bornemann, the band has endured several line-up changes, with Bornemann being the only consistent member of the group. In the 1980s, after a series of major splits in the group, Bornemann pursued a more commercial direction. Despite attracting a large following, the band never gained popularity in the United States.

Despite their nationality, the band are not generally considered krautrock due to their sound which has much more in common with English progressive groups such as Pink Floyd and Yes.
