Escolaso Tango Guitar Trio - Recuerdo

Escolaso escolaso was born in 2002 to create a space for musicians raised under the classical school, but with strong roots in popular music. Their goal is to make tango known even with a rare formation, whithin the genre. Escolaso is integrated by Mariano Mattar, Andrés Guzmán and Damián Cortés, each one of them has played as a solist or with different bands in many locations.

All through the history of the group, some talented guitar players such as Leandro Riva, Leonardo Intilangelo and Pepe Ferrer have shared and enriched the passion and spirit of the project.

Etheir first record, "Escolaso" (2004), has a repertoire that ranges from tangos and traditional milongas to Astor Piazzola’s songs. During 2004 and 2005, the trio did two european tours, playing their music in Germany, France, Italy, Sweden and Denmark. In 2007, they launched their second record: De Vuelta al Juego (Back to the game), and did their third tour in Germany, France, England, Iran and United Arab Emirates.
