Companion DVD to the Grammy-nominated Time: The Revelator. Previously unreleased, includes all three videos from the alubum and nine live performances from the "Revelator" tour. Featuring the unreleased original song "Wichita" and four rare previously unreleased recordings of songs by Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Bill Monroe, and Townes Van Zandt. Gillian Welch: The Revelator Collection is a mix of music videos and concert footage of singer-songwriter Gillian Welch and her musical partner David Rawlings, recorded during their 2001 tour. The first three songs are music videos from the studio album Time (the Revelator). The nine live tracks are taken from concert performances at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC, and the Bijou Theater in Knoxville, TN. Both the music videos and the live songs are recorded in black-and-white. Directed by Mark Seliger.
