"Psirri" is a famous district of Athens, under Acropolis' rock, with many bars, taverns and music halls. Many of them are open all day long and offer live music. This nice compilation includes beautiful greek folk songs, that you can hear some sunny noon under Acropolis, tasting greek "meze" and drinking "ouzo". Enjoy delightful greek folk songs, with popular singers.

And, of course, during the week days, no greek could enjoy the place cause they were at work. But now, thanks to the nice EU appointed Government (a.k.a. Junta), most Greeks can finally enjoy the place daily, since they have no jobs to go to.

Great thanks for this. The files extract into greek lettered MP3's, though, so English speaking users might want to bookmark this page in order to rename the tracks after the file has been extracted.
