Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) - Hohe Messe - Netherlands Bach Society / Jos van Veldhoven
APE (EAC) & CUE | 3% Recovery | Covers | 2 SACD/hybrid CDs | 232 MB & 215 MB | RS
Recorded at the Waalse Kerk, Amsterdam, December 2006

“While making this new recording of the Hohe Messe, I felt free to take a fresh look at the score. As a starting point I made an effort to make as little difference as possible between singers and instrumentalists - Bach himself frequently enough made parodies of his own instrumental music - I tried to forget the 'classical' division of the choir and to immerse myself in the impressive and rich tradition [of church music performance] of which Bach was a part. The result is a 'new' Mass in b minor, which I hope will keep Bach's art alive in our own time.” – Jos van Veldhoven

Btw, if i want to extract my .APE files to MP3 files, it will not work good. It sounds bad, it shocks like every 5 seconds. It sounds like the music is cut in 20000 parts. Does someone know the good settings so it will sound good?

Thanks!!
