This instrumental album acts as the live accompaniment to Buster Keaton's silent films High Sign and One Week. It displays the natural affinity between the work of both artists. The music's sense of adventure and unexpectedness enhances the warmth and humanity of the films.

Bill Frisell has crafted one of his finest most evocative albums. He harvests melancholy Americana from deceptively modest episodic themes. Frisell produces cinematic motifs on his guitar, and his cohorts - longtime bassist Kermit Driscoll and drummer Joey Baron - provide abundant narrative drive.
