Tesori Musicali di Roma is the collection devoted to a number of the most interesting and haunting musical pages originating in the Roman musical world between the Renaissance and the Baroque Period.
It is the first Collection dedicated entirely to the often unpublished legacy of the city of Rome. A number of handwritten scores have been recently discovered through donations and private collections and this represents a real treasure for the whole world.
The first CD published, Il Liuto del Caravaggio (CHCD001), is entirely devoted to lute music that was heard in the city between the 16th and the 17th centuries.
