Pink Floyd – The Wall (1979)
MFSL UDCD 2-537 | 1979 | Rock | EAC RIP | FLAC+CUE+LOGS+HQ-Covers (400Dpi) | 208Mb+236b+23Mb

Pink Floyd's the Wall is arguably one of the most intriguing and imaginative albums in the history of rock music. Since its release in 1979, and the subsequent movie of 1982, the Wall has become synonymous with, if not the very definition of, the term "concept album." Aureally explosive on record and visually explosive on the screen, the Wall traces the life of the fictional protagoinst, Pink Floyd, from his boyhood days in war-torn England to his self-imposed isolation as a world-renownedrock star, leading to a climax that is as questionably cathartic as it is destructive.

Hi janwal46, the configuration of EAC is wrong in this parameters:
1- Defeat audio cache : No ------------instead be---------->Yes
2- Make use of C2 pointers : Yes ------instead be---------->No
3- Null samples used in CRC calculations : No -instead be-->Yes
Sic!

neutronsix

You're right, but when the original discs are in good shape you will not hear any difference, believe me, and I don't use a ghetto blaster to listen to :-)

Posted By: AmishFury Date: 25 Jul 2010 20:32:58
thank you

also neutronsix was only right about the null samples bit (even then that has no effect on the rip itself)

for the rest some big assumptions are made... don't know about your specific drive but my older NEC drive doesn't cache audio data and if yours doesn't then it needs to be set to "no"

also NEC drives generally have damn a good C2 feature and enabling it is just fine most of the time

in the end though your log also has accuraterip results that should shut people like that up but some people are too stubborn to realize a burst mode rip that has accuraterip reporting all tracks ripped accurately is just as accurate a rip as a secure mode rip
