History: Les Paul and Mary Ford

Well I've been surfing around the Net trying to get hold of some of the 'history' guitarists. There do not seem to be many available! A lot of the lesser known players were basically group members or session players, so didn't release many solo albums.

Les Paul, on the other hand did release some solo albums - the trouble is I can't get hold of any! (Though the search goes on). However, the album I have put up - The Best of the Capitol Masters - does have some musico-historical significance. Mary Ford was (at the time) Les Paul's wife and they had a string of hits back in the early 50's.

I guess you would best decribe the music on the posted album as country with jazz and (50's) pop overtones. Throughout though, the guitar-playing remains impressive. It is cut at 160 kps:
