By the way , if you just keep the album on your computer, you do not need all of it :

Just import it in foobar and 'convert to' same with each track as separate.

My opinion is that , if you do it , you better to convert it to FLAC , much much better format than APE .

I'am not speaking about sound quality- they must be the same.
Just than APE is not reliable and bugy as hell.
