Lotus Path is a wonderful meditative recording from an artist who is best known for his drumming and ritual albums. James Asher has put aside his frame drums for echoed flutes and the gentle percussive qualities of the dulcimer, creating an innovative sound reminiscent of his first album, 1989's The Great Wheel.
