This is the most recent disc (2005) by Umezu Kazutoki's amazing Kiki Band. It features Umezu on alto & soprano sax & clarinet, Kido Natsuki on electric guitar, Hayakawa Takeharu on electric bass and
Joe Trump (once of Carbon) on drums. The quartet is super-tight and rocks really hard. Whoa. Umezu, Kido and Hayakawa all take strong solos throughout no matter how hard this band rocks. Umezu has
a knack for putting together bands that can match his unlimited wealth of influences, blending jazz, hard rock, funk, prog and ethnic strands into an immensely powerful new four headed monster. Just when you think you have them pegged they show you another side.
