RCA Japan's Works for Violin and Orchestra features four concerts performed by the Boston Symphony Orchestra in 1955 and 1958: Aram Khachaturian (1903~1978) : Violin Concerto, Camille Saint-Saens (1835~0915) : Havanaise , Op.83, Ernest Chausson (1855~1899) : Poeme , op.25, and Camille Saint-Saens (1835~0915) : Introduction et Rondo Capriccioso , op.28. This collection is currently available only on import outside of Japan.

Sadly, track 5 is faulty - it cuts out shortly before the end. ANy chance of a re-upload?

Please ignore my comment about track 5 being faulty - seems to be a compatibility problem with one of my players.

@the poster: LezDawson: it's just as important to name the fiddler who was just as famous a Monteux: LEONID KOGAN. Also noteworthy is that his recordings are hard to come by.
