Led Zeppelin 3 Classic Records Vinyl Needle Drop
Hard Rock | Vinyl Needle Drop | FLAC 24bit 96khz | 950mb's
1970 | Publisher: Classic Records | English | MediaFire.com

Led Zeppelin is an english rock band from the 1970's. Their 3rd album, Led Zeppelin 3, is an often under appreciated one. Although it contains the hit "Immigrant Song", the large number of acoustic songs marked a departure from the hard rock of the debut and 2nd efforts, and sales were not nearly as high for this album. I should note, this album benefits by far the most from the mastering at classic records, especially in the acoustic numbers. Classic records, who mastered this release, is a record mastering company specializing in audiophile Vinyl pressings [like this 200gram 33rpm example] using a custom all tube cutting and mastering process from the original master tapes. They [CR] seek to perfectly replicate the original vinyl pressings in both sound and asthetics [cover art, liner notes, even paper texture, down to a creepy level of detail usually], while eliminating surface noise and gaining new clarity and quality of acoustics compared to standard releases. Very similar to MFSL in almost every meaningful regard, vinyl only obviously.

wiki has this to say:
It has been suggested that Led Zeppelin III was something of a watershed release for the band, as it marked a change from Page's domination of the first two albums towards a more democratic affair in which all four group members offered up their own compositions and ideas - a pattern that would continue in future sessions.[1] The album added acoustic and folk rock elements to the band's established rock and blues repertoire, which also helped endear the band to progressive rock fans. However, some detractors attacked the heavier tracks as being mindless noise, whilst the acoustic material was criticised by others for imitating the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

Could someone post some RS links please?

Oups!!! Sorry! It seems that I posted the comment without refreshing the page from my browser!!!

I also want to thank "arizonadream" for his effort!!! Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

Last but not least. I would like to suggest two new Subcategory for Vinyl rips!!! One for audiophile and one for simple needle drops. Wouldn't that be a good idea?

I want your opinions on this subject!

Thanks in advance!!!

I also want to say a big thank you to "AdmiralHalsey" for posting these releases of remarkable quality!!! Unfortunately mediafire.com is too slow for me and that's why I still prefer Rapidshare!!!

I hope you will reply to this message "AdmiralHalsey".

Have a good day everyone!

Well, what do you guys want next, led zeppelin 2 or houses of the holy? Physical Graffiti and everything after is just US. mint first pressings, not classic records. Still all 24bit 96khz though, I like em.

Fantastic to finally hear these albums with dynamic range! Much appreciated.

But the last track (Hats off to Harper) has very audible clipping in the beginning, marring an otherwise-excellent recording. Would it be possible to re-record just this track with lowered gain?

Cheers!
