Loggins & Messina - Full Sail (MFSL)

Loggins & Messina - Full Sail (MFSL) | 1973 | Genre: Rock, Country rock, folk, 1970's
CD Image File | EAC (WAV + CUE) | Covers | RAR = 303.08mb

A CONTRIBUTION TO THE MFSL TEAM PROJECT

Kenny Loggins & Jim Messina were not meant to be a duo, but that's what happened when the success of Sittin' In, done as a way to start Loggins' solo career, was bigger than they realized. Messina had been with Buffalo Springfield and Poco, and had wanted to perform, write, and arrange songs for Messina. But fans loved the melodies and blends they were able to create, and a duo was born. Full Sail is their third album together, and features a number of hits and FM radio staples. Fans who only know the duo for their hits, or Loggins for his string of soundtrack hits from the 80's, will be very surprised at the depth these two and their band were able to create on their albums, and on this. Those who have the original Columbia/CBS/Sony CD's can put them to rest, for the MFSL is THE only way to hear this. Includes original liner notes from Kenny Loggins, written specifically for this release.

(By request, these are updated links, so if you downloaded one of these rar files and were not able to complete them when the previous RS links expired, you may continue with these)

These files, upon being unpacked, will give you a CUE and WAV file. You can use such programs as Exact Audio Copy (EAC), Nero, or Alcohol 120% to burn. The WAV file is the actual music, the CUE file is used to divide the long WAV into the individual tracks that are on original disc.

I only had the disc but I discovered the graphics in a newsgroup so I decided to take them and include them here.

They're completely unknown to me, but taking a look at their style and at the year it was released I'll give it a try.
Many thanks and keep up all the good work, my friend!
Cheers from Brazil!!!!

Hats off to you guys posting all the MFSL. Most of the stuff you're posting is from "my" day, and it's most appreciated. Some of this stuff I thought was gone with my vinyl. I can still remember where I was the first time my stylus hit the first track of each LP. Older guys will know what I'm talking about, the younger ones will never know the excitement of taking that nice big piece of artwork home with the music inside. They might have been big and bulky, but they had their advantages; like the big paper inside the Big Bambu album by C&C, or the newspaper in Thick As A Brick. Anyone else kind of miss those days?
