"A Night In London" dates back to 1996, when Knopfler was just kicking off his solo career with the "Golden Heart" album. As you'll see from the set list, most of the material is from that album (which I consider to be a modern masterpiece), with a scattering of older material. He's joined by a variety of guests including Jools Holland, pedal steel player Paul Franklin, and slide guitar master Sonny Landreth as well as four Irish musicians and a four piece string quartet. The live show was shot in a television studio with a small audience, but contains enough musical fireworks to fully satisfy any fan. Any fan of Knopfler's, and any fan of well played music should own this movie.

i did recovered with winavi and it,s ok now,the noise is back.

i wouldn't dare to call this music "noise", lol :)

if you have no sound it is because you don't have AC3 filter installed. You may find it here (it's freeware).

I have it on VHS, now, thanks to you, will have in DVD, thanks a lot semeni, awe up :D

I hope you won't be a bit disapointed as the dvd version have edited out "Sultan of the Swing" and "Hard Fuel" which included in VHS version. Also the sound is only two-channel stereo. But the video quality is great and Mark and other musicians gave a great show.

Hm, that is very strange. I've uploaded the file yesterday and everything went fine. Now it is indeed showing a 34 MB size and i've tried to download the file i've got error message "Connection Lost" from the server. Hope it's temporary problems and i can use this service in my future shares.
Anyway, i'll reupload the file shortly and publish the download URL here in comments.
